Yes, some "western" agreement with you.
Toilet paper's ok, but it must be followed with water.

With regard to the UK situation you mention...well, they didn't - all - bath much. so, if you think they were unclean because of not cleaning their backsides, how dirty must they be when they also don't bath for weeks or months!

hmmm...Although many of the British learned a lot during the time of the British Raj, they do not seem to have learned about this.

Regarding the lack of floor drains mentioned in the previous comment: In south africa, in the workplace, we do not have floor drains, we have plastic jugs and we must somehow fill them from the flushing water of the toilet or fill it before going into the toilet cubicle.

Anyway, now that you've spoken about this, what about the fact that although Indians ([generally? mostly?) wash their backsides, why is it that it is so common to get diarrhoa from food in India? - Because so many of the people serving the food do not clean their hands properly after washing their backsides after toilet and so many have some long fingernails. I wonder if some use a fingernail in the process of cleaning after toilet.

Similar thoughts on how television can change one's life!

Same actions here. We religiously reach home by 6 just in time to watch 'Bones', and then 'Law and Order', and then 'Law and Order Criminal Intent', all the way till Jay Leno show. You know, it is sort of a ritual in the new-age families.
Think TV is a good thing too. We try and watch material that is vague, or ambiguous, or controversial - providing us with topics to talk during breaks :-)

One solution we have found is "dish devra - Dish devra allows recordification. You can recordify so you won't miss any..."

Two quotes to close:
“The answer to life's problems [...] are on TV!” - Homer Simpson
“Vacations are perfect examples of how little you can stand your family” - Calvin

[I]... anally reciprocate my feelings about the washing.
__r.

I agree with you:
1. I agree to the fact that touching one's 'yuckiness' with their bear hands is better... :-p
And also,
2. No floor drains in western bathrooms. So you could spill and splash your 'cleanliness' around at will.

Do you know why they named 'Wonderla' so? Its because if they called it WonderLand, it wouldn't have been believable!!! ;-)

Seriously - I think such a job exists. I don't think it is any one job, but actually any job that each of us loves dearly! So if i were to look into what I really like doing - its doing nothing! So if I had a job that paid me for doing nothing and doing it well, I think I would enjoy it a lot and be totally stress-free!!! ;-)

Look at people like say Roger Federer or Sachin Tendulkar. They love what they do so much that even though it seems like their 'jobs' can be stressful, to them, the passion is so great that it doesn't feel like a burden!

So in your context Kanch - I think you will enjoy teaching. It is something that comes naturally to you, you are in school teacher mode most of the time anyway and it wont feel like a job at all!!! Go for it!!! ;-)
